Declaration on accessibility
We, the Tyrol Chamber of Commerce, endeavor to make our website accessible in accordance with the Accessibility Act as amended to implement the European Accessibility Directive(Directive 2019/882) on the accessibility requirements for products and services.
The Web Content Accessibility Guideline - WCAG 2.2 was complied with as far as possible.
This accessibility statement applies to the website verkehrsberufe.at
Status of compatibility with the requirements
This website is only partially compliant with conformance level AA of the "Web Content Accessibility Guidelines - WCAG 2.2" due to the following incompatibilities.
Non-accessible content
The content listed below is not accessible for the following reasons:
INCOMPATIBILITY WITH ACCESSIBILITY PROVISION
Some images and graphics still have inadequate or missing alternative text. This violates the non-textual content success criterion. We endeavor to provide appropriate alternative texts for new content immediately and to revise older content on an ongoing basis.
The shortcomings of the following success criteria will be rectified by our content team and our technical department in the next development cycles:
- The heading hierarchy does not correspond to the logical sequence in some cases.
- Links and images may not have sufficient labeling for assistive technologies.
- Subtitles for videos
The presentation of our websites is based on current technical possibilities and standards. We have randomly checked the order in which elements in the main content are technically displayed. If you notice any problems with the implementation of individual elements, please pass on your suggestions to us.
We have also randomly checked our website for visual animations as well as audio and video files. If you find other audiovisual content for which you still need text alternatives or subtitles, or animations that still require interruption mechanisms, please let us know.
DISPROPORTIONATE LOAD
Some of our videos do not have audio description. This means that the WCAG success criterion (audio description recorded) is not met. We are of the opinion that correcting this would represent a disproportionate burden in terms of accessibility regulations. The video on the homepage, which is automatically played in the header, is not audio-described and therefore does not require an audio description.
This content does not fall within the scope of the applicable legislation
PDF documents and Office documents, mainly older ones, are not accessible. For example, PDF documents are not tagged, which means that they cannot be read and used by screen reader users, or only to an insufficient extent. This means that WCAG success criterion 4.1.2 (name, role, value) is not fulfilled.

Enforcement procedure
In the event of unsatisfactory responses from the above contact options, you can submit a complaint to the Complaints Office of the Austrian Research Promotion Agency with Limited Liability (FFG). The FFG accepts complaints electronically via the complaints office contact form.
The complaints are examined by the FFG to determine whether they relate to violations of the provisions of the Web Accessibility Act, in particular deficiencies in compliance with accessibility requirements, by the federal government or an institution attributable to it.
If the complaint is justified, the FFG must make recommendations for action to the federal government or the legal entities concerned and propose measures to remedy the deficiencies.
